Tenshinkan Instructor Shihan John Young has a serious cycling accident.
Sadly John's racing bicycle hit a pot hole in the road and he was catapulted over the bars which resulted in some very serious injuries and compound fractures to his arm and also injuring his ribs, hip, wrist etc.
Luckily a passing motorist came across John lying in the road and immediately called an ambulance whereby he was taken to Ninewells Hospital for emergency treatment.
With such serious injuries it is likely Shihan John will be in recovery for quite some time.
All members of Tenshinkan wish to send John and family their get well soon wishes.
